PMP Application Audit!?
Question by roomblaze: PMP Application Audit!?
Hi,
I am planning to use for my PMP exams.
I have a couple of inquiries on the audit procedure.
one) My expertise as a Project Manager has been mainly in the US doing work for a US employer and a US customer. Soon after my visa expiry, I had to return to India.
In case my software is selected for audit, is it okay to get a signature of my existing manager certifying my past function expertise?
2) I have education and learning certificates and PMP instruction ( 35 details) certificate ready.
Presented that my past employer is located elsewhere geographically, are there any other operate -arounds to submit my operate knowledge verification from the professionals?
Please allow me know.
Many thanks much,

The response to component 1 is No.
No 1 can verify knowledge that they did not truly witness. So your earlier manager can only verify your earlier encounter and your current supervisor can only verify your current expertise.
Hopefully, you can contact or email your past professionals. If you let them know about your audit, they’ll probably be pleased to vouch for you if they are contacted by PMI.
Only ‘workaround’ heading is if you cannot get in touch with your past professionals to validate your knowledge, you could listing any colleagues who you worked with on those assignments as contacts and clarify to PMI that you could not get to your past managers.
Re: part 2…which is great. If you are not able to consider your examination right away because of an audit, be confident to brush up on your scientific studies before you sit for the exam. Good luck!
